  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Benjamin -- Self-discipline is a must : A great book to read about forming self-discipline habits. It's so important to stop with the negative behaviors towards oneself and be kind to yourself. I enjoyed how this book gives me tools to get started and follow through on all of my goals. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Sanna -- Not only what to do , but how : This book was brimming with practical ways of how to become more disciplined and actually reach the goals you've set up. Highly recommend. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Timothy Tyler Benton III -- Gets You Back On Track : information and put the gems out there to be discovered by the people who really need it and are ready to hear it. I'm really not a slacker, haha - maybe a bit of an avoider when the mountain seems very high, and I'm certainly not a couch potato. However, I do find that throughout the year I start out on a good track and somewhere along the way I can't even see the tracks anymore. If you're reading this review in order to decide whether or not to purchase this book - just go ahead and get it. Peter really has compiled every known method to get you back in mental shape (and physically too), and these are proven methods that will bring success. It's nice to suggest that everyone has self-discipline challenges, a comforting thought. I frequently feel like those that are ultra-successful don't have these sorts of challenges - a thought that gives me an excuse for why I have trouble staying on task when it comes to large projects. The techniques outlined in this book are absolutely golden, and all are worth adopting. The book is like a personal trainer that is understanding and supportive, knowing how your mind tends to fall back on distractions and some bad habits. My 'gratitude list' begins with the chain of events that led me to finding and reading this book. I feel like I'm back on a good track again -(and it's not even New Year's Eve or a Monday morning :) ( Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Jyssica S. -- Super easy to understand and actionable : Author Peter Hollins lays out very clear, easy-to-follow action items you can to literally today to start making changes in your life. He makes it easy to see ways that small changes build up over time. There is no fluff or filler, it is just one tip or action after another with explanations of why it works and how to do it. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from John R. Wallace -- Changes come slowly : This books discusses many important concepts dealing with making changes in one’s life. One concept that is mentioned throughout the book is that lasting change occurs in one’s life when a person takes baby steps toward the goal or goals. One creates new habits through slow changes, preferably, with written goals. The book emphasizes that balance is needed in one’s life… plenty of sleep, a healthy diet, and a reduction of stress. One interesting point, among many, is that one may make a don’t-do list rather than a to-do list. Another major point deals with anger management. An attitude of gratitude also helps with making changes. ( Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from kcg -- Great, simple, useable advice! : Such a practical guide for getting your life moving! Peter Hollins has broken down everything that stops us from success into bite-sized pieces of advice that help us to go on to bigger issues. Every chapter deals with one of his 41 self-discipline tips, directly and simply. I particularly like his advice: start small and work up to big. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2021 )
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars from Rich Marcello -- A useful Book on Self-Discipline : Peter Hollin's book is a useful guide for those seeking more self-discipline in their lives. Organized in seven chapters, the forty-one tips focus on areas like useful habits, getting right in your mind, body, and soul, approaching success with a positive attitude, and staying mindful but goal-oriented. I found most of the advice to common sense, but I can envision how this wouldn't be the case for many. The prose was clear and to the point, as it should be in a book like this. Recommended to those who are looking for more discipline in their lives. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2021 )
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars from D.J. Hawkins -- Practical and to the point : Short book filled with practical tips and suggestions on how to efficiently manage your time by making small changes. Even though some tips may be common sense, it's not always simple to push ourselves. Therefore, the sections focusing on useful habits, having a positive attitude and self-love (for the mind and body) are very important. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2021 )
